I’m with ya all the way on this one.

The 3rd use is bogus and redundant of the first two uses and opens the door to legalism.

If you wouldn’t mind, I would like to post your piece on my blog sometime in the near future. There ought be some good fireworks over it and I think you would have a lot of fun with some of my readers,many of who are Missour Synod types.

It’s good to see some activity on the Forde Lives site. I appreciate your comments on the new Lutheran body. I’ve been wondering, what kind of a body wants to be known as having formed in opposition to same-sex sex?

I’m reading Forde’s and Nestigen’s book “Free to Be,” which was written for youth. It’s the best basic theology I have found. I’m all in favor of those who don’t fit, like yourself, being a Forde follower who doesn’t always agree with him. I’m a United Methodist Church dropout who, in my small northern California city, has to go to an LCMS church to hear the word and an Episcopal Church to receive communion.
